Hidden Clan Rules First Broken Rule: 25% Warning. Second Broken Rule: 50% Warning. Third Broken Rule: 75% Warning. Fourth Broken Rule: Banned for a few hours Fifth Broken Rule: Banned for a day If this continues, your banning time will increase everytime.
DO NOT PM CASTEDSHADOW ASKING ABOUT A SIGNATURE OR ICON UNLESS YOU USE THE FORM POSTED BELOW! EVERYONE DOES IT AND IT'S GETTING REALLY OUT OF HAND.
The name you sign up with can be anything you like, but as soon as you post your character, your name must be changed to the name of your character!
I. Over all speaking Rules No Spamming, God Modeling, Power Playing, Chat Speak, or Swearing. All of that is PROHIBITED. Though there is a special property for power playing. You may PP during ceremonies, picking up some cat by the scruff etc. if you wish, but there is no killing of another charrie without the permission of the Roleplayer. The other ones are a major aspect of the rules. Even in the C-box...There is never a need for Chat Speak (except gtg, brb, or lol), God Modeling, or Spamming. Get it? Got it. Good! Only Staff or Leaders CAN post in Character Bios, Claims, and Status Pages.
II. R*E*S*P*E*C*T* rule Respect Other's Privacy, Feelings, and Work. Don't be rude to people...It's not cool, treat others the way you would like to be treated. I'm sure you've heard that saying a thousand times over.
III. Stolen Work rule Do not steal graphics. Castedshadow works hard to make everyone something, but she often has to close her requests. And no hot-linking icons/siggies. PM Castedshadow for further info on that.
IV. Personal Info Rule Don't ask anyone, anywhere, anytime for personal information. Age, location etc. are not appropriate questions. If you are found talking about ages, you will be BANNED immedately for a few hours.
V. No advertising Clans rule No asking others to join you Clan. You may advertise it in the Yellow pages, but follow the bumping rules.
VI. Supernatural Rule It is realized that the Castedshadow and Demonkit thing is a little...supernatural. We are hoping to go back to normal ASAP. But, normal cats cannot kill bears, wolves, badgers, and foxes alone. If a cat is found doing that, the post is deleted.
VII. No advertising site rule You may no advertise your site on any board, or c-box. Only on the listed area in your profile you may link your site, and as well as in your siggy. But do not poke your siggy, or PM other people to join. All advertising PMs are reported to Castedshadow.
VIII. One-liners rule Posts of 10 words or less are considered spam...and will be deleted. I believe everyone can at least make a two lined post everytime, but thats not going to be a rule....since it's your own reason why you make One Liners.
VIIII. Feature Rules No names with Dragon in them. If it is something a cat would not know of, it will not be allowed in a name. Nor can a cat have star in the begginning of its name, and only at the end if it is a leader. Speaking along the lines of names, if anyone is caught copying another persons name, no matter what the reason, whomever had the name first has the permission to keep their name, and you have to change the name. Doing that is just completely uncalled for. Queens cannot have kits back to back, seperate them by at least 2 weeks, also they can have from 1-6 kits...no more, orphans are counted within those six. If cats are not put into an active roleplay, IF the clan is active, within a week to two, they will be moved as well.
X. Bio rules Bios must be put into the proper forms, or they will be moved into the Nearly Forgotten...at the end of the rules, proper layouts will be given in which your cats status will be needed to put into the proper categories. Every cat has a personality and pelt. Make the personality at least 3 words long, and the pelt at least a sentence. If you are not sure that you followed everything correctly contact Castedshadow, Risingstar, Midnightclaw, or Lilystem to check your bio.
XI. Rules of Proper Posts I've noticed lately that people have been formatting their posts. It is annoying, n00bish and over all distracting SO, you are now only allowed to use italic, and center in roleplaying posts. No glow, no color, just italic and center. And another this. When your character speaks This isn't Dialouge. How ever, "This is.", and bolding or italicizing your dialouge isn't allowed either, unless the creature is thinking then you MUST use italics. Do not bold for text, you may only use quotes. And lastly no making your characters swear even if it is **** etc.
XII. A little bit more of a Role Playing Rule Do not describe mating! I'd prefer if you just said she was having kits! Or that they went off, then she came back and was expecting kits! But if you DO have to say it just say something such as "The cats got close to each other...." Thats it. This is a site for fun role playing, no need to gross anyone out. NO ROLE PLAY WORDS. Erin Hunter doesn't use them when she writes, so we don't roleplay with them. No words such as auds are allowed. She-cats can only be called she-cats and toms only toms. The only two wolf script words that I allow are 'pools' for eyes and 'flank' for the stomach.
XIII. Having fun Rule Last but not least, have fun. I know it sounds kind of corny, but this is what this site is for, and please have fun in the sense that you are still following the rules.
Misc. Rules
*How to Join A Clan* 1. Choose A Clan to Join. 2. Go on that Clan board. 3. Go to the character board. 4. Click 'create new thread' 5. Make the thread name the name of your character. 6. Make a bio using the bio layout on the "Rules" page, then click "post message" 7. If you wish to be Medicine cat or deputy, PM the leader of the Clan, but only if the spot is still open.
Bio Layouts When you first create your cat...these are the bios, you MUST follow. Adding a picture or history is fine, but they are not required. All ages are measure in Moons (Months). Kits = Less then a Moon- 5 moons. Apprentices = 6- 12 moons. Warriors = 11- 60 moons. Queens = 12-55 moons. Elders = 60 and on. Apprentices can not have kits or mates...though they can have crushes. Medicine Cats and Med. Cat Apprentices don't have Crushes or Mates...but it might happen in secret, same goes for she-cats that are Leaders or Deputies. One last thing, there is only one Leader, Deputy, Medicine Cat, and Medicine Cat Apprentice in each clan. Now for the layouts.

These rules have been made by both Castedshadow and Midnightclaw. Please respect and follow these rules. We take them very seriously, and from now on, when they are broken, there will be consequences to actions. Hidden Clans Bumping Rules Bumping is posting a post directly after your post, just so it can be the "last updated topic". Since we now have the Yellow pages and such, we are going to have a bumping rule. You are not permitted to bump more than twice in 24 hours. And no deleting your post and bumping later. I can tell if you do that, and you will be in trouble.

Icons and Signatures I will once again accept the requests of doing custom icons/signatures. Think wisely about what you want, for I will only make them this last time for you unless your character dies or something, and you have a new screen name. Here is the form: Name on Icon/Sig (optional): Clan on Sig (optional): Phrase Text (optional; example; Casting Shadows Upon the Clans): Pictures (MUST PROVIDE LINK): Style (Burnt (Risingstar's), Dodged (like burnt, but darker), Animated, Darkened (mine, Bloodmask's), Lightened (opposite of Darkened) or other ): Colors:
Rules of Signatures: Signatures can be any hight, be they must have a width of less than 550 (except Bloodmask is my exception his signature is the best I've made.) They also must be cat themed only. Avatars AND Signatures have to be cat-themed. Big cats are accepted to, such as lions and leopards. But nothing else.

Clan Rules! Below are a list of Rules created by some clans in order to fulfill a role play. Since they have been disregarded and ignored, I'm going to make a thread which directs you to them. Not all clans have these rules but some do. Further more they should be followed and respected by those who created them, and those who need to follow under them. What is Warriors? Warriors is an awesome book series by Erin Hunter. If you haven't read any books, you shouldn't be here. Why can't I have a good cat in Silenced-Echoes? One good cat turns to many and it is supposed to be an evil Clan. Why does my Kitten's name have to end in kit? It's book rules. I can't find a good UNCOPYRIGHTED image for my cat, what shall I do? Just add a good pelt description, or, post the picture (without hotlinking), and give credit to the site. Can I play more than one character? Yes. Do all my characters have to be in one Clan? No, actually I forbid it. Do I have to start out as a kit? No. Be whatever. What is Hot-linking? Hot linking is taking an image off of a real site may it be .com, .org, or anything like that, and using its original URL to make the image show up. For example, if this site was http://thehiddenclans.net, and we had an adorable image of a cat and you put http://thehiddenclans.net/catimage.gif for the image, it costs money to the person already paying for the site. So don't do it. AT ALL. How do I join a Clan? Posted in the rules. What Clan do I join? Go through each Clan and see what fits you best is all I can suggest.

Hidden Clan's Warrior Code Prey. Prey may only be animals such as, but not limited to, voles, mice, rabbits, and birds. Your Clan must be fed before you eat yourself. Unless your Clan leader commands you to do so, you may not give/share prey with any other Clan or a loner, rogue, or kittypet that is outside of your Clan. Relationships. It is always good to have a friend in another Clan, but do not let the friendship let down the loyalty to your Clan. Half-Clan relationships are strictly forbidden, meaning no cat can fall in love with a cat outside of their Clan, even if a kittypet, loner, or rogue. Also, in battle or something major like that, you may not let your friend's offense go, just because he/she is your friend. The Clan. Never disobey your Clan leader. If a Warrior does something foolish, there will be punishment. A deputy may not become deputy without having an apprentice first. New deputies must be elected before Moonrise on the night of the cat's death. The deputy becomes leader after leader's death (so to keep your Clan elect your self deputy just as your leader is dying). Female leaders and deputies may not have mates/kits. Medicine cats and Medicine cat apprentices may not have mates/kits. A kit must be six moons (three weeks) before they can be apprenticed. Only Warriors can be elected deputy. If a cat is blind they may retire early. If a cat passes on, there must be an appropriate burial. Most importantly, respect Clan Borders.

Name Rules 1. Do not copy anyone else's name. Meaning the first and last part. And no Clans may EVER have the same leader names as leaders in the past. Such as Ravenstar, for there was a leader here once named Ravenstar. 2. Two cats in the same Clan may not have the same beginning name, unless one is set to die and the other is a kit. 3. The beginning part of a name can be used in every Clan for all it matters, as long as the full name is different. But they have to be different ages, there cannot be two Killpaws or two Killkits. 4. Choose a name that makes sense. Don't get used to putting 'ing' or 'ly' on the end of the beginning part of a name. Its okay every once and a while, but it isn't normal Warrior names. 5. Only use words that are in English (such as tree, orange etc.). Do not use names of things cats would no know the name of. The cat may know a Parana as a sharp-tooth fish but they will not know it by name. And no names with Dragon in them.
Past Leaders: Poisonstar, Ravenstar, Rainstar, Rosestar, Leafstar, Sparrowstar, Riggedstar, Speckledstar and Silverstar. Forbidden Names (first part of name or back): Dragon, angel, demon, summer, fall, autumn, winter, spring, and heaven. If you are already deep in role play with a character of with the name summer, fall, autumn, winter, or spring that's fine but don't make anymore.

This is for all the people out there that think having a Snow name or name with Black is cool. It's not. Well Anyway. Thanks to Badgerstripe, who had the idea, I concocted a list of names from every clan. The ones with question marks are obviously a double of a begginning in a name. Oh and another thing, if something is incorret on this list, please take the liberty of telling me. I would love to fix any mistakes I made. Thank you.
